Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Burlington, MA (01805) — Greater Boston / Massachusetts nursing jobs
• Position: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) / Med-Surg Tele RN – Nursing Float Pool
• Employment Type: Travel Contract (travel nurse / travel RN)
• Start Date: February 16, 2026
• End Date: April 13, 2026
• Assignment Length: 8 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (night shift travel nurse)
• Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed 72 hours biweekly)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,470 - $2,600
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun for nights)

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or multistate compact RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience (medical-surgical telemetry)
• Epic EMR experience required (Epic documentation experience preferred)
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• ACLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications preferred
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred; required if no prior travel nursing experience
• Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for at least 6 months (perm, per diem, or contract)
• Ability to pass day-one clinical testing (Relias practice tests available)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and effective patient care in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit (medical-surgical telemetry nursing)
• Float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units as needed (floating in 4-hour blocks)
• Manage patient ratios typically between 1:3–1:5 per hospital standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes (team-based patient care)
• Accurately document all patient care and assessments in Epic EMR
• Participate in ongoing education and complete required clinical competency assessments
