• Location: Salem, VA 24153 – Discover the charm of Salem in the Blue Ridge Mountains, a prime destination for Virginia healthcare professionals.
• Healthcare Setting: Interventional Lab and Stress Testing Unit (Basement Floor)
• Employment Type: Travel Contract – 13 weeks
• Start Date: January 12, 2026
• End Date: April 13, 2026
• Shift: 07:00 AM – 5:00 PM (10 Hour Days)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On Call: Required
• Scrub Color: Blue
• EMR System: MEDITECH
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,220 - $2,380

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), ideally in special procedures or interventional radiology
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Special Procedures Tech certification preferred
• Experience with MEDITECH EMR system is a plus
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Radiology Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures in the Interventional Lab and Stress Testing Unit
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation using the MEDITECH EMR system
• Follow safety protocols and infection control standards
• Participate in scheduled on-call coverage
• Demonstrate professionalism and compassion in all patient interactions
