Travel Mammography Technologist Job Details

• Location: Bay City, MI 48708 – Experience scenic riverfront views, historic architecture, and a welcoming Michigan healthcare community.
• Healthcare Setting: Diagnostic Imaging Unit
• Start Date: February 23, 2026
• End Date: May 25, 2026
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Four 10-hour day shifts per week (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM); rotating weekday off
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1810 - $1940
• Employment Type: Travel Radiologic Technologist
• Weekend/Holiday: No weekends, no holidays
• Floating: May be required to float to nearby locations (mileage reimbursement provided)

Mammography Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Mammography Technologist experience
• Current ARRT (M) Certification [Required]
• BLS (AHA) Certification [Required]
• Bone density imaging experience [Required]
• Strong communication and patient care skills

Mammography Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality breast imaging (mammograms) using advanced radiologic equipment
• Guide patients through screening and diagnostic mammography procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding
• Maintain imaging equipment, conduct quality assurance (QA/QC), and keep accurate records to meet regulatory standards (e.g., MQSA)
• Assist with additional breast imaging procedures such as ultrasound or biopsies as needed
• Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care in a clinical setting
