Mammography Technologist Job Details

• Location: Columbus, Ohio 43212 (Central Ohio healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Outpatient Breast Center (occasional support at satellite locations)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026)
• Shift: Day shifts, 5x8-hour (08:00-16:30, 08:30-17:00, or 09:30-18:00); holiday weeks may be 4x10-hour shifts; occasional Saturdays; mobile shifts may vary (06:30-19:00)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2710-$2920
• Patient Ratio: 10-15 patients per day

Mammography Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist or Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
• Active ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Valid Ohio Department of Health license
• Proficient in screening, diagnostic, digital, and 3-D mammography
• Experience with Digital Hologic (Tomo) equipment preferred
• Outpatient healthcare experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Ability to provide two professional references (one from a manager, director, or clinical leadership)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography procedures, including digital and 3-D imaging
• Support patient care at the Breast Center and satellite locations (satellite work is screening only)
• Deliver compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients
• Maintain accurate documentation using the Epic electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adapt to variable shift times, including occasional Saturdays and mobile assignments
