• Location: Flemington, NJ 08822 — New Jersey nursing job / Flemington nursing opportunities
• Pay Rate: $88.35 per hour (competitive pay for Labor & Delivery RNs); Estimated Weekly Salary: $710 - $750 (based on working one 12-hour shift per week)
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour night shift)
• Minimum Commitment: 4 shifts per month, with opportunities for additional shifts
• Weekend Availability: Required
• Scrubs: Provided

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey (NJ RN)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NRP
• Preferred: experience in both Labor & Delivery and Mother-Baby (maternal-newborn care)
• Ability to work night shifts and occasional weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods as an L&D nurse/obstetric nurse
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using fetal monitoring and assessment tools; recognize and respond to changes promptly
• Assist with vaginal and assisted deliveries, support cesarean sections as needed, and respond to obstetric emergencies
• Deliver postpartum and newborn care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary maternal-newborn team
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, ensure patient safety, and promote high patient satisfaction
• Communicate effectively with physicians, midwives, pediatricians, and support staff to coordinate care
