Med/Surg RN Job Details

• Location: Concord, New Hampshire (zip 03301) – New Hampshire nursing jobs
• Healthcare Setting: High Acuity Medical-Surgical/Respiratory Care Unit (16 beds)
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract (February 23, 2026 – May 23, 2026)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (primarily days; may assist on nights)
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• 1-2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience (Critical Care RNs with Med/Surg experience encouraged to apply)
• Current resume documenting clinical and travel nursing experience
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association preferred)
• NHISS required prior to start date
• ACLS certification preferred
• EMR experience with Cerner preferred (not required)
• First-time travel nurses welcome – great opportunity for new travel RNs

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a high-acuity Med/Surg/Respiratory Care unit
• Manage patient ratios of 4-5, occasionally up to 6
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to other local hospital units as needed (including Laconia and Franklin locations)
• Accurately document patient care using EMR systems (Cerner experience a plus)
• Participate in ongoing nursing education, compliance, and clinical support initiatives
