Radiology & Electrophysiology Technician Job Details

• Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab – EP Tech
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 03/02/2026 – End: 06/01/2026)
• Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts/week (07:00 - 17:30)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1920-$2060
• On-call: Required
• Floating: Required to float to affiliated hospitals within 20 miles
• Parking: Free in any unrestricted space

Electrophysiology Technician Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of Electrophysiology (EP) lab experience required; 2 years preferred
• Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology (IR), and EP procedures
• Preferred certifications: RCVT (Registered Cardiovascular Technician), RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA or Red Cross)
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias
• Nicotine-free (negative drug screen required)
• Ability to complete time-sensitive modules prior to start
• First-time travelers and candidates with pending licenses accepted

Key Responsibilities – EP Tech Travel Job

• Perform and assist with cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, and tilt table studies
• Insertion and programming of AICDs and pacemakers
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Circulate and scrub in EP lab procedures
• Float to all three affiliated hospitals as needed
• Complete required EKG and Pharm tests during orientation
• Prioritize completion of facility modules before assignment start
