- Job Title: Travel Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) / Radiologic Technologist
- Location: Oak Lawn, IL 60453 (southwest Chicago area). Oak Lawn offers convenient access to Chicago while providing a comfortable suburban setting with everyday dining, shopping, and local parks. The area is well-situated for commuters and exploring the greater Chicagoland region on your days off.

- Duration: 6-week travel contract
- Schedule: Day shift
- Shift Duration: 8-hour days
- Hours per Week: 40
- Weekend Rotation: Alternating / every other weekend
- Call: Varies

- Orientation: Unit-based orientation to learn workflow
- Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $2,130–$2,280
Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of recent X-ray / Radiology Technologist experience (Level I trauma experience strongly preferred)
- Certifications & Licensure: BLS (AHA), ARRT (Radiography), and Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) accreditation
- Clinical Skills: General diagnostic radiography; experience with GI/fluoro support, surgery/C-arm, portable X-ray, and trauma imaging
- EMR/Technology: Electronic charting proficiency (EPIC experience preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic exams, including portable and non-portable imaging
- Support surgical imaging needs (including C-arm cases) and assist with GI/fluoroscopy workflows as needed
- Provide timely imaging support for trauma cases while maintaining patient safety, radiation safety, and image quality standards
- Verify orders, ensure proper patient identification, and document accurately in the EMR
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to support efficient patient throughput
- Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment as appropriate (e.g., GE X-ray rooms, Siemens fluoro, GE C-arm, Fuji portables)
