This on-site assignment is based in Detroit, MI 48201 and offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated Breast Imaging team in a dynamic clinical setting. • Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,880–$2,010
• Location: Detroit, MI 48201
• Department/Setting: Breast Imaging (Mammography)
• Employment Type: Travel contract (Allied Health)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (04/27/2026 – 07/27/2026)
• Hours: 40 hours/week
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts
• Schedule: Start times between 7:00 AM–8:30 AM; end times between 3:30 PM–5:00 PM
• Weekends: One or two Saturdays per month as needed (with a day off during the week)
• On-Call: None
• Openings: 1

Job Requirements (Mammography Technologist)

• Experience: 2+ years of mammography experience (required)
• Certification: ARRT (M) Mammography (required)
• Certification: BLS (AHA) (required)
• Ability to produce diagnostic-quality images while maintaining patient comfort, privacy, and safety
• Strong attention to detail for documentation and accurate data entry
• Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a Breast Imaging environment

Responsibilities (Breast Imaging / Mammography)

• Instruct and position patients to obtain diagnostic-quality mammogram images
• Perform mammography procedures and support the Breast Imaging team to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care
• Assist with breast biopsy procedures, including needle localizations, stereotactic biopsies, and ductograms
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked work area in alignment with department standards
• Manually enter patient and exam data to support preparation for dictation and documentation workflows
• Follow all applicable facility policies and procedures while supporting a positive patient experience
