• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Rotating with permanent staff
• Call/Standby: None
• Department Snapshot: 3 rooms; ~60 studies/day
• Charting/PACS: MEDITECH EMR; Intellispace PACS
• Equipment: GE, Philips, Siemens
• Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $2,030–$2,190
• Orientation: 1 day HR orientation; training/shadowing based on comfort with systems
• Dress Code: Scrubs not provided; purple tops with eggplant pants

Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year as a Radiologic Technologist required; 1–2 years in each modality performed (general X-ray, OR, fluoro support, portables) strongly preferred
• Certification: ARRT (Radiography) required
• License: Active Connecticut Radiologic Technologist license required
• CPR: BLS required
• Additional: COVID vaccination (3 doses) per facility policy
• Preferred: Prior travel experience (travel radiology / travel imaging)

Key Responsibilities – Diagnostic Imaging / X-Ray

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams including general X-ray, portable X-ray, OR imaging, and fluoroscopy support as needed
• Verify patient identification, review orders and clinical history, and ensure proper positioning, technique, and image quality
• Maintain radiation safety standards (ALARA), infection prevention practices, and departmental protocols
• Document, process, and route studies accurately using MEDITECH and Intellispace PACS
• Collaborate with radiologists, nursing, and perioperative teams to support efficient throughput and an excellent patient experience
