• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (travel assignment)
• Schedule: Days, 2 (12-hour) shifts
• Shift Hours: 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM
• Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed hours: 24)
• Call: Must be available for call as needed
• Employment Type: Travel Contract
• Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $1,630 – $1,750

Qualifications & Requirements (CST / OR Tech)

• Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
• Core Skills: Sterile technique, instrumentation knowledge, and ability to anticipate surgeon/provider needs
• Schedule Availability: Ability to work day shifts and participate in call rotation as needed
• Onboarding: Ability to complete standard onboarding items such as background checks, immunization/TB screening, and skills checklist per facility policy

Key Responsibilities (Operating Room / OB-GYN)

• Scrub for Cesarean sections and support OB/GYN surgical procedures in accordance with departmental policies and sterile technique standards
• Prepare and maintain surgical instrumentation, supplies, and the sterile field peri-operatively and intra-operatively
• Support post-operative room turnover, instrument handling, and decontamination processes per protocol
• Stock and organize supplies for the OR, LDRs, Nursery, and Postpartum rooms; remove outdated supplies and forms routinely
• Provide direct and non-direct patient care support, including clerical, supply, and messenger duties as needed
• Serve as unit secretary when needed and collaborate with all professional disciplines as a key member of the childbirth team
• Promote patient-family safety, satisfaction, and efficient patient flow while supporting desired clinical outcomes
