We’re seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist (also known as Radiologic Technologist / Rad Tech) to support increased patient volumes in an outpatient setting. You’ll perform screening and diagnostic mammography using digital mammography and 3D mammography/tomosynthesis, with occasional support at an additional outpatient site as needed (screening-only). No biopsy responsibilities are required for this role.

- Primary Shift: Days (typically 08:00–16:30)
- Rotating Hours: 08:00–16:30 / 08:30–17:00 / 09:30–18:00
- Holiday Weeks: May transition to 4x10s
- Weekend Requirement: Occasional Saturdays
- Mobile Coverage: When scheduled on mobile, hours may vary between 06:30–19:00
- Setting: Outpatient women’s imaging / mammography
- Patient Volume: Approximately 10–15 patients/day
- EMR: Epic
- Patient Population: Adults, Geriatrics
Job Requirements (Mammography Tech / Rad Tech)
- Experience: 2 years of recent mammography experience (outpatient experience preferred)
- Certifications: BLS (AHA) required
- ARRT: ARRT (R) required
- Advanced Certification: ARRT (M) Mammography required
- License: Ohio Department of Health (ODH) license required
- Clinical Skills: Screening mammography, diagnostic mammography, digital mammography, 3D mammography/tomosynthesis
- Preferred: Digital Hologic (Tomo) knowledge
- References: Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director/supervisor; no coworker-only references)
Responsibilities (Outpatient Imaging)
- Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams in a fast-paced outpatient environment
- Operate digital mammography and 3D/tomosynthesis equipment while maintaining image quality, radiation safety, and patient safety standards
- Provide compassionate patient education, positioning, and comfort measures to support optimal imaging outcomes
- Document accurately in Epic and follow departmental protocols, infection prevention, and quality assurance standards
- Support workflow efficiency while managing consistent daily volumes (approx. 10–15 patients/day)
- Provide coverage as needed between the primary outpatient imaging site and an additional outpatient site (screening-only when assigned)
- Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to ensure timely, patient-centered imaging services
- Note: No biopsy duties are required for this assignment
