Travel RN opportunity in Cleveland, Ohio (44195) for an experienced Cardiac Stepdown / PCU Registered Nurse supporting a cardiac stepdown care team in a progressive care environment. • End Date: 06/12/2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Hours: 36 hours/week
• Shift: 12-hour rotating
• Shift Options: Days (07:00–19:30) and Nights (19:00–07:30); rotation may be required to meet unit needs
• Orientation: 16 hours (includes required assessments)
• Holiday Requirement: Work at least every other holiday
• Hourly Pay Rate: Not provided in this posting

Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 18 months of recent Stepdown experience (travel experience accepted); PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred
• License: Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license in hand
• Certifications (required): BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Skills/Assessments: Must successfully complete telemetry / ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
• References: One current/previous manager-level reference in the specialty (manager/ANM/supervisor/director)

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in a Cardiac Stepdown setting
• Perform focused assessments, identify clinical changes, and escalate care per unit protocols
• Interpret telemetry and demonstrate strong ECG rhythm recognition skills
• Administer medications safely and accurately, following site protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, patient education, and discharge readiness
• Document nursing care clearly and on time in accordance with unit standards
• Support unit operations by flexing between day/night rotation as needed
