• Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nurse)
• Start Date: March 9, 2026
• End Date: June 7, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (NOC); every other weekend required — Night Shift RN
• Shift Schedule: 4 × 12-hour night shifts per week (48 hours/week). For 36 hours/week, schedule is 3 × 12-hour night shifts per week. Actual schedule based on unit needs.
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,980 – $2,080 (estimated; travel nursing pay for Springfield, IL)

• On-Site Position

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license (must be in hand at time of submission) — Illinois nursing jobs
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience required (Med-Surg clinical experience)
• Current BLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam (two attempts allowed)
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of application
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and accurate clinical documentation preferred

Responsibilities / Med-Surg Nursing Duties

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate med-surg nursing care to a diverse medical-surgical patient population
• Perform comprehensive clinical assessments, monitor patient status, and document changes accurately each shift
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions in accordance with hospital policy
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Provide patient education, discharge teaching, and support to patients and families
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and safety practices
