Job Details (Travel Nursing Contract)

• Location: Hinesville, GA 31313 (about 40 miles SW of Savannah; not far from the ocean)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680–$1,770
• Unit/Setting: Emergency Department (ED) – 18 beds including 3 trauma bays
• Start Date: 02/23/2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (through 05/25/2026)
• Schedule: 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM); every other weekend (weekends as needed)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Floating: No floating required
• EMR: T-system
• Charting: TruBridge – Evident

ER RN Job Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years of recent Emergency Room (ER) / Emergency Department (ED) RN experience required
• License: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (valid for practice in Georgia or compact privilege, as applicable)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required (TNCC preferred)
• Strong IV skills and comfort managing common ER/critical care drips
• Ability to interpret telemetry strips
• Comfort troubleshooting respiratory support equipment (BiPAP/CPAP/vents)

Key Responsibilities (Emergency Department Nursing)

• Provide rapid assessment, triage support (as assigned based on experience), and evidence-based interventions for a wide range of emergency presentations
• Manage high-acuity patients including chest pain, shortness of breath, stroke/CVA (including thrombolytic candidates), trauma/MVAs, DKA, hypertensive emergencies, and behavioral health/safety-room patients
• Initiate and titrate IV therapies and drips per protocol; monitor response and escalate care appropriately
• Care for ER holds within the department and coordinate safe transitions of care
• Collaborate closely with ED physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), charge nurse, respiratory therapy (RT), radiology, and tech/PCT support to maintain flow and patient safety
• Deliver patient-centered care with a strong focus on customer service and patient satisfaction
• Document accurately and efficiently in the assigned charting system
