• Contract Length: 13 weeks (91 days)
• Shift: 12-hour days (06:45 – 19:15)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 – $2,010
• Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends per month
• On-Call: 1 shift per month
• Holiday Requirement: Required in rotation
• Orientation: Monday virtual orientation (8 hours, no-bill)
• Facility: Nicotine-free
• Travel Eligibility: Must meet 60-mile radius rule (locals not accepted)

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent hospital Med/Surg RN experience (new graduates not accepted)
• License: Active Kansas RN or Compact RN (multistate) license required
• Certifications: AHA BLS & ACLS
• Clinical Skills: IV gtts/drips experience preferred (Heparin, Insulin, Amiodarone, Cardizem)
• Compliance: Credentialing items due 1 week prior to start date

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients on the Med/Surg unit
• Monitor and manage IV drips and medication administration as assigned
• Float within scope to the Emergency Department (ED) as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in scheduled weekend, on-call, and holiday rotations
