• Shift: 8 Hour Days (6:45 AM – 3:15 PM, Monday–Friday)
• Call: DOTs and call shifts required
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,900 – $2,000

• Work Setting: Outpatient Surgery Center / Ambulatory Surgical Center

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an Operating Room RN (perioperative nursing, circulating and/or scrub experience)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or a current Compact RN license accepted
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• CNOR or perioperative certification is a plus
• Experience in specialties such as Thoracic Surgery, Surgical Pathology, Sub-Acute, Pediatric PACU/OR, or Ophthalmology OR is beneficial
• Ability to participate in required call and DOTs shifts
• Travel nursing requirement: travelers must reside at least 50 miles from Atlanta, GA 30342

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative and operating room nursing care for surgical patients (operating room nurse / surgical nurse duties)
• Perform circulating and/or scrubbing duties while maintaining strict sterile technique
• Prepare OR suites, confirm surgical equipment and supplies, and ensure case readiness
• Conduct pre-op and post-op patient assessments, verify consents, and support surgical safety checklists
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Respond effectively to urgent needs during call shifts and support efficient patient flow in the ambulatory surgery setting
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, adhere to infection prevention protocols, and promote patient advocacy
