Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 18 months of recent X-Ray / Radiology Tech experience (must be able to work independently)
• Comfortable providing diagnostic imaging support in the Operating Room (OR)
• Hands-on experience with GE imaging equipment
• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiography program
• Licensure: Active New Jersey Radiologic Technologist license
• Certification: ARRT (Radiography)
• Certification: BLS (AHA preferred/accepted)
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient-safety focus in a fast-paced clinical environment

Key Responsibilities (X-Ray Tech / Radiology Technologist)

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
• Prepare patients for imaging exams, ensuring safety, comfort, and clear communication throughout the procedure
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain radiology imaging equipment; ensure proper setup and quality control
• Support imaging needs in procedural areas, including the OR, while maintaining sterile and safety practices as applicable
• Coordinate daily workflow, prioritize exams appropriately, and communicate effectively with radiologists and clinical teams
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and escalate concerns to support quality patient care
• Document procedures and follow departmental policies, compliance standards, and patient privacy requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned to support radiology department operations
