• Nursing Shift: 3x12-hour nights (18:45 – 07:15)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Patient Ratio: 1:5
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Floating: May float to other Med/Surg Telemetry or low-acuity ICU units
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800–$1,890 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state (required for Tennessee healthcare jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Epic EMR charting experience within the last 12 months (must be detailed on your profile)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions for COVID-19 only)
• Ability to pass a fit test (no facial hair interfering with mask seal)
• Previous travel nursing and charge nurse experience preferred

Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical care to adult and geriatric patients on the Med/Surg Telemetry floor
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; manage dysrhythmias
• Administer medications, IVs, and blood products as prescribed
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient care coordination
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, and more
• Care for patients with diagnoses such as post-MI, cardiac cath, neurosurgery, seizure disorders, substance withdrawal, and more
• Manage central lines, PICC lines, chest tubes, tracheostomies, and wound care devices
• Participate in rapid response and code teams as needed
• Float to other units as required to support patient care needs
