Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
Location: Utica, NY 13502 (Central New York healthcare jobs)
Start Date: March 30, 2026
End Date: June 27, 2026
Duration: 13-week contract
Shifts: Rotating 12-hour shifts (days and nights required)
Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
Unit Details: 18-bed maternity unit (triage, antepartum, Labor & Delivery, recovery, and 2 ORs for C-sections)

Compensation

Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,100 - $2,210 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 4-5 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York nursing jobs)
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Experience with Epic/Stork EMR
Ability to float to Mother-Baby, Pediatrics, or Adult units as needed
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Healthcare Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages
Assist with gynecological and newborn care
Monitor and assess mothers and newborns, responding promptly to changes in condition
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
Accurately document patient care using Epic/Stork EMR
Provide clinical support by floating to Mother-Baby, Pediatrics, and Adult units as required
