Travel Nursing Job Details

Location: Utica, NY 13502 (Central New York)
Assignment Length: 13 weeks (March 30, 2026 – June 27, 2026)
Healthcare Setting: Labor & Delivery Unit (18 beds: 3 Triage, 2 Antepartum, 2 ORs for C-sections, 3 Recovery, 8 L&D beds)
Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 4-5 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Experience with Epic/Stork electronic medical records system required
Ability to float to Mother-Baby, Pediatrics, or other adult clinical floors as needed

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in all phases of obstetrics: ante-partum, intra-partum, and post-partum
Assist with gynecological and newborn care as needed
Monitor and assess mothers and infants, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the birthing process
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care
Document care and interventions accurately using Epic/Stork EMR
Educate and support patients and families during labor, delivery, and recovery
Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with hospital policies and clinical standards
