Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Active Wyoming RN license or multi-state RN license (must be attached to application)
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association only)
- Minimum 5 years recent Director-level experience in OR / surgical services leadership or perioperative management
- Experience overseeing peri-operative (perioperative), infusion, and cath lab departments preferred
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills; experience with staff development and budget management
Primary Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and direct operations and staff (clinical and nonclinical) for peri-operative, infusion, and cath lab services across two campuses
- Oversee patient transitions for preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care across inpatient and outpatient surgical services
- Direct clinical practice, coordinate patient service delivery, and ensure high standards of perioperative care and patient safety
- Educate, mentor, and develop nursing and surgical services staff; promote continuous quality improvement and staff engagement
- Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and operational workflows to support efficient surgical services
- Serve as a clinical and operational resource for interdisciplinary teams across the hospital system
- Split time between Lander and Riverton campuses based on organizational needs; ensure consistent standards across sites
- Perform other duties as assigned by system leadership
