• Setting: Level 3 Labor & Delivery Unit (high-acuity perinatal care)
• Assignment Type: Travel nursing assignment (13 weeks)
• Start Date: April 13, 2026
• End Date: July 11, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shifts: 12-hour shifts, 4 days per week (rotating schedule)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 - $2,250 (travel nurse pay)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in New York State (New York RN license required)
• Minimum 2 years recent Labor & Delivery (L&D) / perinatal nursing experience
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) / Neonatal Resuscitation certification required
• BLS (American Heart Association) required
• OR and triage experience highly desired (OB/GYN triage, operating room experience)
• Strong communication, prioritization, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients across low-, moderate-, and high-risk levels
• Deliver patient- and family-centered perinatal care in a fast-paced Level 3 L&D unit
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary OB/GYN teams including physicians, midwives, neonatology, and support staff
• Float among OB/GYN units as needed to meet patient volume and acuity
• Demonstrate flexibility in clinical care and delivery modes; assist in cesarean sections and high-risk deliveries as required
• Maintain clinical competencies and participate in ongoing training and staff development
