• Location: Jeffersonville, IN 47130 (near Louisville, KY)
• Setting: Telemetry Unit (3SE Tele) — cardiac telemetry / acute inpatient
• Assignment Type: Travel Contract / Travel Nurse (Telemetry RN)
• Start Date: March 29, 2026
• End Date: June 27, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45pm – 7:15am), every other weekend required
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1930-$2030

Job Requirements (Telemetry RN Qualifications)

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of acute inpatient RN experience; Telemetry experience preferred
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with Epic electronic medical records (Epic EMR)
• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN) required
• Strong clinical communication skills in English (read, write, speak)

Responsibilities (Telemetry Nursing Duties)

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments per policy and patient condition
• Continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring, recognize and document arrhythmias, and escalate per protocol
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions and medications
• Provide patient and family education throughout the hospital stay and at discharge—focus on cardiac and telemetry patient teaching
• Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel and serve as a mentor/preceptor to staff when applicable
• Promote teamwork and participate in quality, safety, and service process improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and participate in Practice Governance
