- Assignment Type: Travel Nurse (Travel RN / Critical Care RN)

- Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM or 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Compensation
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2130–$2250
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent critical care experience (Neuro ICU, Medical ICU, or Surgical ICU experience preferred)
- Experience with advanced hemodynamic monitoring and intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring
- Proficiency caring for ventilated patients and administering pressors, inotropes, and other vasoactive medications
- Experience assisting with line insertion and maintenance, and managing central lines, PA lines, ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, and EVDs
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to Neuro Critical Care Unit patients, including ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke patients and post-neurosurgical patients
- Monitor and interpret advanced hemodynamic and intracranial pressure data to guide clinical decision-making
- Manage ventilated patients and safely administer critical medications, including vasoactive drips
- Assist with insertion, maintenance, and troubleshooting of central lines, PA lines, ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, and EVDs
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
