- Shift: 4 x 10-hour day shifts (07:00 – 17:30), Monday – Friday
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Call: Rotating call 1-2 nights per week; rotating weekend call every 3-4 weeks; possible holiday call
- Candidates: Travel candidates only (no local candidates)
Key Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the U.S.
- Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in Cardiac Stepdown, Cardiac Cath Lab, or Interventional Radiology
- Experience with MacLab monitoring and cardiac cath & EP procedures
- BLS (current) required; ACLS preferred
- Strong critical thinking, telemetry interpretation, and communication skills
- Ability to participate in rotating call schedule
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and continuous monitoring for cardiac stepdown and post-procedure cath lab patients
- Assist and circulate during interventional radiology, cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology procedures
- Utilize MacLab and electronic health record systems for accurate monitoring and documentation
- Interpret telemetry and respond to changes in cardiac rhythm or patient status
- Collaborate with cardiologists, interventional teams, and multidisciplinary staff to deliver high-quality cardiac care
- Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotations as scheduled
- Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery expectations, discharge planning, and ongoing cardiac health
