Location: Kerrville, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Seeking compassionate Registered Nurses committed to teamwork and world-class patient care.

• Unit: Medical Surgical (MS)
• Patient ratio: 1:5
• Schedule: 4/4 week schedule with weekend requirements

  • 8 weekend shifts in 4 weeks
  • Day shift weekends: Saturday/Sunday
  • Night shift weekends: Friday/Saturday nights
  • Must be available to work 4 of the 8 weekend shifts
• Floating required to other units including 3W as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience within the last year
• Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Government issued photo ID required
• Background checks including 7-year search, education verification, and annual federal exclusions screenings
• Health requirements including:

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Immunizations and/or declinations for: Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Flu, COVID-19
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray as applicable
  • Drug screening (10 panel) within 1 year of start
• Professional references: 2 required within 3 years of start
• Annual competency exams and skills checklists as applicable

This job requires a commitment to flexible scheduling, weekend availability, and the ability to float to other units.
