Job Description

Seeking compassionate Registered Nurses committed to world-class patient care and teamwork. Position is for Medical Surgical unit (2W) with a patient ratio of 1:5.

• Schedule: 4/4 week schedule with weekend requirements. There are 8 weekend shifts in the 4-week schedule. Day shift weekend coverage is Saturday/Sunday; night shift weekend coverage is Friday/Saturday nights. Must be available to work 4 of the 8 weekend shifts.
• Floating required to other units including 3W as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience within the last year
• Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Requirements

• Must complete background checks including 7-year search, education verification, and federal exclusions screening
• Required health documents and immunizations including:

  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframe
  • Vaccinations or declinations for Hepatitis B, MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Varicella, Tdap, Flu, and COVID-19
• Drug screening within 1 year of start date
• Professional references: 2 required within last 3 years
• Competency exams and skills checklists as applicable
