Job Opportunity: Mammography Tech

Location: Memphis, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (weekends as needed, no weekend block scheduling)

Job Summary

Seeking a Mammography Tech with experience in Radiology/Cardiology. This is a travel contract position requiring compliance with licensure and credentialing standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
• Mammography Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT (R)(M) certification required

Work Requirements

• Weekend work as needed (no weekend block scheduling)
• Must comply with all Return to Office (RTO) restrictions at time of submission

Certifications & Compliance

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required depending on assignment area
• Other certifications may be required depending on specific clinical areas (not mandatory for this role)

Background & Documentation Requirements

• Background check within 60 days of start including statewide, county, federal, and education verification
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated annually
• Sex offender search and Tennessee Adult Abuse Registry search (TN only)
• Two recent professional references required
• Skills checklist and internal evaluation if employed with agency for one year or more

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start, attesting ability to meet job demands
• Fit mask test (3M N-95) within 1 year of start, must pass without limitations
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually
• Immunizations required: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B (proof of vaccination or positive titer)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
• Negative 10-panel drug test within 30 days of start (no pending results accepted)

Additional Notes

• Photo for badge must meet strict guidelines (passport-style, no hats, no glasses glare, recent within 6 months)
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs for RNs, specific colors for other techs; no prints or embroidered scrubs allowed
• Confidentiality acknowledgment must be signed prior to start
• All required documents must be submitted timely for clearance
