• Setting: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Step-down / Telemetry
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (Day/Night)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend/Holiday Requirements: As needed
• Floating Requirements: Must be willing to float to ICU, Med-Surg, and Telemetry units
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2040-$2150/week

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or step-down nursing experience
• Critical care/ICU experience required; strong telemetry skills preferred
• Active Minnesota RN license (compact license accepted if active in MN)
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required upon submission
• Willingness to float to ICU, Med-Surg, and Telemetry as needed
• No more than 7 days of requested time off during the contract

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to progressive care and step-down patients, including telemetry monitoring
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognizing and responding promptly to changes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per orders and hospital policies
• Provide patient and family education, discharge planning support, and ongoing communication
• Float to ICU, Med-Surg, and Tele units as needed, applying critical care and acute care skills
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety, quality, and compliance standards
