Job Details – Radiology Tech / X-Ray Technologist

• Location: Vail, CO 81657 (Vail Valley, Eagle County)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (travel radiology assignment)
• Shift: Rotating, 12-hour shifts
• Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed 32 hours)
• Employment Type: Travel / Contract Radiologic Technologist

Compensation

• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,030 - $2,190 per week

Minimum Qualifications / Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of radiology experience required (hospital or outpatient imaging)
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Experience with age-specific populations: Neonatal, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Computer literacy for online learning, electronic documentation, HIS and PACS systems (can be obtained within 90 days)

Key Responsibilities – Radiology / Medical Imaging

• Perform radiographic examinations (X-ray, portable imaging) according to facility protocols and radiation safety standards
• Assist radiologists with fluoroscopic procedures and interventional imaging when requested
• Operate surgical imaging equipment including large C-arm and O-arm under surgeon direction
• Verify patient identity and exam orders; ensure accurate image acquisition and documentation
• Use HIS and PACS for imaging workflow, reporting, and recordkeeping
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain department policies, confidentiality (HIPAA), quality assurance, safety, and infection control standards
• Monitor supply inventory, maintain exam and dressing rooms, and support efficient radiology operations
• Demonstrate organizational values and Just Culture principles; perform other duties as assigned
