• Weekend/Holiday Requirements: As needed
• On-Call Requirements: None
• Floating Requirements: As needed within the ER

Qualifications & Certifications

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department / ER nursing experience (ED RN / ER RN)
• Active Minnesota RN license (non-compact) or MN temporary license valid for the assignment
• NIHSS Certification
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA) or ENPC
• TNCC Certification
• Ability to submit cover sheet, resume, active license/certifications, and skills checklist

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care: triage, rapid assessment, and treatment for patients with acute and critical conditions
• Perform ED clinical procedures including cardiac monitoring, medication administration, wound care, and airway management
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record and adhere to hospital protocols
• Float within the Emergency Department as needed to support patient flow and staffing
• Work weekends and holidays per unit requirements
