• Location: Penn Yan, NY (14527) — Finger Lakes region
• Assignment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nursing
• Duration: 14 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 18, 2026)
• Schedule: Full Time (3 x 12-hour shifts per week), rotating day/night shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,960 - $2,070 per week
• Shift: Variable shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Setting: Acute Med/Surg Unit — med-surgical nursing, telemetry capable

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active New York State RN licensure required (NY RN)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg experience as a Registered Nurse or Med-Surgical Nurse
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac care preferred
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and technical nursing skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care in an acute Med/Surg unit
• Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Deliver direct patient care, monitor clinical progress, and modify plans as necessary
• Perform telemetry monitoring and develop skills in cardiac and acute care nursing
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, self-care, discharge instructions, and lifestyle changes
• Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and evidence-based practice
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development
• Foster teamwork, delegate appropriately, and support unit leadership and clinical workflows
