• Location: On-site in Canton, GA (30115) — North Georgia / near Metro Atlanta
• Start Date: April 13, 2026
• End Date: July 11, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 3 shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,500 - $1,580 per week
• Unit: Special Care Nursery (SCN) – Level III NICU
• Number of Positions: 1

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of NICU or Special Care Nursery (SCN) experience — NICU RN experience preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) license active and in good standing
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Must not be a local candidate within 50 miles of Canton, GA (travel nurse requirement)

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized nursing care to neonates with medical and surgical needs in a Level III NICU / Special Care Nursery
• Monitor and assess infants using advanced neonatal equipment including ReCam ophthalmic imaging system, cardiac monitors, warmer beds, and isolettes
• Provide neonatal critical care, perform assessments, implement care plans, and respond to clinical changes
• Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, lactation consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Support admissions, discharges, and direct transfers from other hospitals as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation, follow unit policies, and uphold high standards of patient safety and infection control
