Travel Nurse Job Details

• Duration: 12 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour days (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Patient Ratio: 1:2 (critical care/ICU RN)
• Beds: 15
• EMR: MEDHOST (MEDHOST experience preferred)
• Scrubs: Navy

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active RN licensure (valid for state of assignment)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience – critical care nurse background
• Demonstrated critical care expertise and ICU nursing skills
• Ability to float to Stepdown unit as needed (ICU/Stepdown experience preferred)
• Permanent home address must be more than 50 miles from facility (travel RN requirement)
• Experience with MEDHOST EMR preferred

ICU RN Responsibilities (Critical Care)

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in a 15-bed ICU
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and perform critical care interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using MEDHOST EMR
• Float to Stepdown unit when required and participate in unit-based call rotation
• Adhere to hospital policies and ICU protocols for patient safety and quality care
