Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting or similar telemetry unit
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Strong clinical assessment, ECG interpretation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical telemetry unit as a bedside RN
• Monitor, interpret, and respond to cardiac rhythms using telemetry and ECG monitoring
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document therapy in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and allied health staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and progress notes
• Educate patients and families on care plans, condition management, and discharge instructions
