• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,500 – $2,630 (competitive travel RN pay)
• Location: Morrisville, VT 05661 (Morrisville, Vermont; Green Mountains)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026)
• Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shift: Days / Varied (5 shifts per week, 8-hour shifts)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Job Requirements

• At least 5 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience (ED Nurse / Emergency Room RN)
• Leadership experience preferred—experience supervising or delegating in an ED setting
• Active RN license (must meet state licensure requirements for travel nursing)
• Ability to step into high-census assignments and cover staff shortages as a Travel RN
• Compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care

Responsibilities

• Deliver age-specific, direct patient care in the Emergency Room (triage, assessment, stabilization)
• Utilize the Nursing Process within the framework of Department and Specialty Standards of Patient Care
• Assume leadership responsibilities, including delegation and mentorship of unit staff
• Supervisory duties: manage daily unit flow, support the Team Lead, address staffing and scheduling issues, and manage call-outs
• Represent the unit at house-wide bed huddles and coordinate patient placement
• Provide triage and step into assignments as needed to support the ED team and maintain patient throughput
