Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,870 – $2,010
• Location: Women's Breast Care Center, Atlanta, GA (Fulton County)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Mammography travel assignment)
• Shift: 8-hour days (8:00am – 4:30pm), Monday–Friday
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Setting: Breast Care Imaging – Mammography, Breast Ultrasound, Bone Density (DXA)
• Travel Assignment: Open to travel radiologic technologists; no local candidates within 50 miles

Qualifications & Certifications

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in mammography or breast imaging
• ARRT Mammography certification required (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Experience operating Hologic imaging systems preferred
• At least one prior travel assignment completed preferred (travel radiology experience)
• Strong patient communication skills and ability to work in a high-volume clinical environment

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic screening and diagnostic mammograms following facility protocols
• Conduct breast ultrasounds, bone density (DXA) scans, and assist with image-guided breast biopsy procedures
• Provide compassionate patient care for approximately 100 patients per day in a fast-paced breast imaging center
• Operate and maintain Hologic imaging equipment with proficiency and troubleshoot basic technical issues
• Collaborate with radiologists, breast surgeons, and multidisciplinary team members to support exceptional patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate patient records, PACS image management, and adhere to regulatory and quality assurance standards (MQSA where applicable)
