• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 – $1,770

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Ohio license or multistate compact RN license preferred)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification required prior to first shift
• Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical experience in Med/Surg, rehabilitation, or acute care
• EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience
• Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating
• Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner in EPIC
• Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and initiate discharge planning beginning at admission
• Communicate changes in patient status to the care team to ensure continuity and patient safety
• Promote patient and employee safety by adhering to hospital policies, infection control, and safety protocols
• Contribute to a positive, efficient work environment through teamwork, professional development, and evidence-based practice
