• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,280
• Location: Libertyville, IL 60048 (Chicago suburb, Lake County)
• Facility: Level 1 Trauma Center • Magnet Designation • Primary Stroke Center
• Contract Duration: 8 weeks (Start: April 13, 2026 – End: June 11, 2026)
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
• On Call: 4 shifts per month
• Free Parking: Onsite
• Scrub Color: Caribbean Blue

Required Qualifications (Radiology Technologist / Rad Tech)

• Minimum 2 years of X-ray experience as a Radiologic Technologist / Rad Tech
• Illinois state license (IEMA) required
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Fluoroscopy experience required
• Strong Operating Room (OR) experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Proficiency with GE, Siemens, and Fuji imaging equipment highly preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general X-ray and fluoroscopy procedures for inpatient and outpatient populations
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio when required, ensuring individualized patient care
• Operate and troubleshoot GE, Siemens, and Fuji radiology equipment
• Document exams and patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Provide support in the operating room for intraoperative imaging and specialized procedures
• Collaborate with radiology supervisors, technologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary clinical teams
• Adhere to all PPE, radiation safety, and institutional infection control protocols
• Participate in scheduled weekend rotations and monthly on-call shifts
