Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – 13-week travel nurse assignment in Lebanon, NH (03756) caring for acute and complex medical-surgical patients.

Med/Surg RN Job Details
- Role: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) / Travel Nurse
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
- Location: Lebanon, New Hampshire (03756) — Upper Valley; New Hampshire nursing jobs
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 5/11/2026 – End: 8/8/2026)
- Setting: Medical Specialties Unit (1C) — medical-surgical, telemetry, complex wound care
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (07:00-19:00 or 19:00-07:00)
- On-Call: Yes

Med/Surg RN Requirements & Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience (medical-surgical nursing, acute care)
- Clinical experience with chest tubes, drips (Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, amiodarone), and post-surgical lines/tubes/drains
- Proficiency in trachs/laryngectomies, telemetry monitoring, complex wound care, central line care and maintenance, and blood draws
- BLS certification required
- Strong teamwork, communication, and critical-thinking skills in acute care settings
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care for patients with acute or chronic illnesses, including sepsis, infectious processes, kidney disease, diabetes, GI conditions, fluid/electrolyte imbalances, alcohol withdrawal, liver disease, substance misuse, endocarditis, heart disease, skin/wound issues, and respiratory illnesses (COPD, influenza, pneumonia, Cystic Fibrosis)
- Manage and monitor chest tubes, IV drips, central lines, tubes, drains, and complex wounds
- Perform central line care, maintenance, and phlebotomy/blood draws; monitor telemetry and respond to clinical changes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapy, wound care, case management) to deliver high-quality patient care
- Participate in rotating shifts and on-call duties as required; document care in accordance with facility policies
