• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,200 - $2,320
• Location: Atlanta, GA 30329 (Atlanta nursing jobs / Georgia travel nurse)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 26, 2026)
• Shift: Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour days)
• Guaranteed Hours: 24 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel, On-Site (Travel Nurse / Travel OR RN)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience (travel experience preferred)
• Current RN licensure and certifications as required by state regulations
• Current BLS and PALS certifications
• Experience in Neuro, Ortho, ENT, General, and Eye surgeries required; pediatric OR experience preferred
• Ability to scrub preferred, but not required
• Experience with EPIC EMR (electronic medical record) required
• Skills checklist matching specialty and 2 recent OR Supervisor/Manager references
• Up-to-date resume documenting required OR experience
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions accepted)
• Nicotine-free facility (testing required)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for pediatric patients undergoing surgery as a Pediatric OR nurse
• Assist in Neuro, Ortho, ENT, General, and Eye surgical procedures and support surgical teams
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (surgeons, anesthesiology, PACU) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR and adhere to perioperative documentation standards
• Follow strict infection control, patient safety, and surgical protocols
• Demonstrate compassionate, family-centered care and clear communication with patients and families
