• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) – Night Shift RN / Travel Nurse role

Qualifications & Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Ohio (required)
• Minimum 1 year recent experience in a Cardiac Stepdown, Telemetry, Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or similar acute care setting
• Stepdown/unit experience with cardiac monitoring/telemetry skills required
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment
• Completion of required onboarding health screenings, background checks, and immunizations
• Up-to-date immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, Influenza)
• Physical/Health Statement, fit test, skills checklist, and competency exam completion required prior to start
• BLS required; ACLS or other cardiac certifications preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown/telemetry patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Monitor and assess cardiac patients, interpret telemetry, administer medications, and document care accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (cardiology, respiratory therapy, case management) to develop and implement patient care plans
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition; initiate appropriate interventions and escalate when needed
• Educate patients and families on cardiac health, procedures, discharge instructions, and recovery expectations
• Maintain accurate medical records and uphold hospital standards for safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance
