- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,830 - $3,040
- Location: On-site in Hyannis, MA (02601) — Cape Cod / Massachusetts radiology job
- Position: Travel Radiologic Technologist / CVIS / Cath Lab Technologist
- Employment Type: Travel Contract
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 11, 2026)
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift: 8-hour shifts; start times include 07:00–15:30, 08:00–16:30, and 09:00–17:30
- On-Call: Required in rotation for nights, weekends, and holidays
- Lead Apron: Use required during procedures
Qualifications & Certifications (Job Requirements)
- Minimum of two (2) years post-technical school radiology experience (bidders with two years post-technical school radiology experience will be required to successfully complete on-the-job training within six months) OR six (6) months recent experience (within the past two years) as a Special Procedures Technologist
- Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology Program
- Registered by the ARRT (ARRT-registered Radiologic Technologist)
- Licensed by the State of Massachusetts as a Radiologic Technologist
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS and IABP certification required within six months of employment
- Successful passage of Basic Arrhythmia Challenge Exam or completion of a Basic Arrhythmia course within twelve months of accepting the position
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- High school graduate or GED
- Special Procedures Technologist experience or recent Cath Lab / EP Tech experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and interventional cardiology teams in Cath Lab and cardiovascular invasive procedures—scrubbing, circulating, monitoring, and recording hemodynamic parameters
- Operate interventional imaging equipment and devices during diagnostic and interventional procedures (fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitors)
- Administer and assist with contrast media under protocol; prepare and check contrast agents and supplies
- Provide patient-centered care for physical and psychological needs during examinations and procedures
- Transfer and position patients onto medical equipment, wheelchairs, and stretchers safely
- Set up and break down sterile trays, maintain sterile technique, and properly dispose of waste
- Maintain departmental inventory and perform routine preventative maintenance and safety checks on interventional equipment
- Document procedures, monitor patient responses, and assist with post-procedure care as directed
- Participate in professional development, continuing education, and competency validation for CVIS/Cath Lab practice
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the interventional team and patient care
