• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1910 - $2010
• Location: Barberton, Ohio (44203) — Summit County, near Akron
• Unit: 2 East – 34-bed cardiac PCU/Telemetry (stroke overflow unit)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 18, 2026)
• Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse (travel assignment)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in PCU, telemetry, cardiac telemetry, or similar acute care setting
• Active RN license (Nursys verification required)
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Certification required
• Accredited nursing degree (ACEN or CCNE)
• Epic EMR experience within the past year (must be shown on resume)
• Willing to float to other units as needed (flexible acute care RN)
• Solid black scrubs required
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed at submission

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a cardiac PCU/Telemetry stroke overflow unit
• Monitor and manage cardiac drips, telemetry monitoring, and telemetry alarms
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care (progressive care/acute care RN duties)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams — physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and support staff — to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to other units as required to support patient care needs and operational coverage
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic EMR and adhere to charting best practices
• Follow hospital policies, procedures, safety standards, and infection control protocols
