Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 – $2,130
• Location: Salida, CO 81201 — Colorado nursing jobs / Salida travel nurse opportunity
• Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 13, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (6:00 pm – 6:30 am) — Night Shift RN
• Hours per Week: 36 (3 shifts per week)
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse, On-Site — Travel ICU RN
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year ICU nursing experience required — experience as an ICU nurse or critical care RN
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program; BSN preferred
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU as a critical care nurse
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Perform assessments, develop care plans, and document patient progress in the electronic health record
• Respond to rapid changes in patient status and provide emergency interventions as needed
• Participate in ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and titration of vasoactive drips when appropriate
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and families while following ICU protocols and standards of care
