Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Location: Trenton, NJ — serving RMC and Hopewell Campuses; may float to Medical Surgical Telemetry (MST)
• Contract Duration: 8 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current ICU and Medical Surgical Telemetry (MST) experience — ICU RN or critical care nurse experience required
• Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIH Stroke certification required
• Flu vaccination required (no declinations accepted)
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and multi-unit float experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU and MST units as an ICU RN / critical care nurse
• Float between RMC and Hopewell Campuses and to MST as needed — flexibility and adaptability essential for float pool RNs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, case management) to optimize patient outcomes
• Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate documentation, medication administration, and handoffs
• Adhere to hospital protocols, infection control, and safety standards for critical care settings
• Participate in scheduled weekend and holiday rotations as required
