Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN)

Employment Details

Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Preparing, administering, and recording prescribed medications.
Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.
Adjusting specialized medical equipment and interpreting/recording measurements.
Monitoring patients' vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications promptly.

Requirements

Valid RN license in Oklahoma
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
At least 1 year of Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) experience within the last year

Comanche County Memorial Hospital is a 265-bed regional referral center providing comprehensive medical services in various specialties.
The hospital has a mission to enhance the quality and quantity of life for those served in Southwest Oklahoma.

Orientation and Policies

Orientation Schedule:
- Allied and Therapy Travelers: Tuesdays
- Nursing Travelers: Thursdays
Travelers will complete approximately 6 hours of modules prior to starting, with logins provided one week in advance.
Compensation of $250 for completing modules before the start date.
Call Policy: On-call paid at $2 per hour with a 1-hour minimum.
Local Policy: Applicants within 50 miles of Comanche County will be considered for placement at an 11% reduced rate.
