- Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour (19:00 – 07:00)

Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU RN experience (Neuro ICU experience preferred)
- Valid RN license required (Compact license accepted; must be in hand at submission)
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Experience with Epic electronic health record/charting system required
- Ability to float between units and sister facilities as needed
- Must provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Availability to work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Solid navy blue uniform/scrub attire required
- Strong critical care skills, excellent communication, and teamwork for high-acuity environments
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality critical care to adult and geriatric patients in a Level II Trauma Center
- Manage patient ratios typically 1:2 or 1:3 as an ICU Registered Nurse
- Perform advanced Neuro and Surgical ICU skills, including CVA/Acute Stroke management
- Care for patients with EVDs, ICP monitoring, lumbar drains, post-craniotomy and post-neurosurgery care
- Manage ventilated patients, interpret ABGs, and provide advanced respiratory support
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias; titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips; manage continuous IV sedation
- Care for arterial and central lines, perform bedside assessments, and document in Epic
- Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE standards; maintain safe patient care practices
- Float between units as needed and provide coverage every other weekend
