Required Qualifications (Radiologic Technologist)
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an intraprocedural or interventional setting (EP lab, cath lab, or hybrid OR)
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- ARRT (R) – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (required)
- ODH Ohio Radiologic License (required for Ohio assignments)
- BLS & ACLS certification
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, exposure, positioning, physics, radiation protection, and medical terminology
- Experience with electronic charting systems and documentation
- Previous travel experience required (travel radiology jobs preferred)
- Permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from central Columbus, OH
Core Responsibilities – EP Lab Radiology Technologist
- Assist electrophysiologists and EP lab staff with non-invasive and invasive cardiac procedures
- Scrub for approximately 80% of EP cases in a fast-paced environment (average ~20 cases/day across 4 procedural labs)
- Operate fluoroscopy and X-ray equipment; ensure proper radiation safety and monitoring
- Perform arrhythmia monitoring and intra-procedural imaging to support diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
- Apply sterile technique and maintain a safe, compliant procedural environment
- Demonstrate proficiency with cardiac mapping systems (CARTO, ESI, Boston Scientific, Affera) and high use of PFA technology
- Support a wide range of procedures including pacemaker and ICD implants, leadless pacemaker implants, atrial fibrillation ablations, EP studies, Watchman/LAAO closures, and cardioversions
- Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patient populations throughout peri-procedural phases
